Mr. McDermott and Mr. Reid both firmly believe that while we must take great care not to unfairly exploit or abuse any individuals who are currently incarcerated. We must also fight vigorously and tirelessly to end the pro Marxian socialist-mindset that causes our prisons to be the socially harmful-money-losing- welfare-state debacles that they are.  It’s the author’s sincere hope that this book helps to start a national dialogue on how we can improve our society through sensible criminal justice policy, increased economic prosperity and the limited but effective use of government resources in partnership with the private sector.
